Formed in 1980, KBI Global Investors (KBIGI) is an institutional long-only global equity manager, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and with an office in Boston, USA. The Firm currently manages global equities for public and corporate pension schemes, sub-advisory investors, sovereign wealth funds as well as foundations/endowments.
KBIGI's Global Equity Strategies have a consistent track record of high income and income growth, as well as providing risk reduction and excess return when compared to equity benchmarks. The Global Equity Strategy includes Global, Global Small Cap, EAFE, Emerging Markets and North America products, all managed to the same systematic investment process.
KBIGI has also been managing a range of Natural Resources Strategies since 2000, offering Water, Energy, Agribusiiness and Global Resource Solutions. The Firm is a high conviction fundamental investor and believes that long term return opportunities are being driven by the need to provide solutions to meet the world's growing need for water, food and clean energy. These strategies afford investors the opportunity to bring new sources of alpha to their portfolios. The performance objective of these strategies is 3-5% outperformance over the MSCI World Index over rolling 3 and 5 year periods. The liquidity of these publicly traded equity stategies also provides an advantage and/or complement to private equity strategies which have lock up periods and liquidity restrictions.
